Primary Stars Football Tournament
Huge congratulations to Mr Da Silva and our Year 5 and 6 girls who were the overall winners of the Spurs N17 Arena Primary Stars Football Tournament. They played tremendously well, winning every match and only conceding one goal in the whole tournament.

Safer Internet Day Competition Winners
Thank you to all those who entered the Safer Internet Day competition. There was an overwhelming number of entries and it was fantastic to see the children's engagement with this challenge. Thank you, also, to families for helping with research at home.

During the summer term, the children in Years 3 and 5 Art Club entered a competition that was being run by Citi, a world wide bank, and Teach First. The brief that the children were given was to create a design for a 'bag for life' that showed what they understood by the term 'Education for All.'
Emmanuella Agyeman in Sycamore class created the most beautiful design and, as a result of her creativity and the meaning behind her design, won the whole competition!
On Wednesday 6th October 2021, Emmanuella was presented with her prize by Lynley and Nadia, both workers at Citi bank. We were all very excited to watch her receive her very own, inscribed iPad! Through winning the competition, Emmanuella also won an amazing £5,000 for the school! Emmanuella's design has now been printed on over 500 bags which people are using all over the world.
We are so proud of Emmanuella's achievement, she has shown all of the St Francis de Sales values and is a true role model to everyone around her.
Well done Emmanuella!
Year 2 were very lucky to have a special visit from children's author Lorreta Chindo-Besong. The children really enjoyed listening to her reading her book "Nain Rocks her Afro" which takes a whistle stop journey through many African countries.
The children asked her lots of questions about where she finds the inspiration for her stories.
We hope the year 2 children feel inspired to write their own stories too.
